You HAVE to believe.
This is not the time for self-doubt, you've gotta go out there and give 100% yourselves to spur the team on!

you know we can win monday, the first 45mins last night saw shrewsbury play the best football they have played this season, the barnet defence was scared of the pace up front, if we can play like that on monday we will win, plus we won`t have a stupid pitch, which is the reason i thought we played so deep in the second half, we are owed big time by the players, management and board, i saw enough in the first half last night to know the team has the desire and skill to do it for US over the next 2 games, COME ON YOU BLUES!!!

I will do!!, i just so p**sed off that we keep loosing LAST MINUTE GOALS Agree, we have got to play our hearts out untill the whistle blows. We have got to stop this giving up thing at 85 minutes, and keep on playing.

This is not the time to have self doubt, we all need to be positive. There is no such thing as luck, and we do have enough tallent in our team to overcome barnet at GM. Its up to them now, good mental attitude, its do or die and I feel quietly confident.

We have to keep the faith, if you dont think we can win and your doubting them....stop NOW!
The team needs everyone behind them. Lets show the Team, The Club,Barnet,The people watching on Sky how getting behind a team is really done!

Its half time we are effectively 1 nil down will have a crowd of at least 5000/6000 home fans we have a great chance - our players will be pumped up we have to attack! that is our gameplan.
Its all about scoring goals this has been our main problem this year lack of goals look it a penalty last night! - each player has to take it on their shoulders and hit the target rather than blaze it over
OK you can bollock the manager and criticise him for coming on with 5 mins to go but we should have been way ahead at half time and the same goes for loads of other games not being ruthless and finishing off the opposition.
Attack, attack , attack, attack, attack , attack, attack attack , attack, attack don't sit back!

I think alot of doubt has creeped in due to Carlisle game last year and the Barnet game is pretty much the same scenario However, we have worked very hard (at times) to breakdownsides so this is the major adavantage over last years side, we also know that Barnet are a very beatable side. There are no Fat Ladys singing around here yet...

After watching the first half last night we can definately do it on Monday however i see two things as belng pivotal to the whole day;
1) first goal is vital, if they get it we won't see them come out of their half again.
2) Referee, a certain Mr Pollock, whose display's in his match's with us this year have been woeful. He gives us jacks**t.

Speaking of which, I thought the referee last night was absolutely superb.
Got more or less everything spot on.
Good to see.

i am keeping the faith although it will take the best performance of the season to get a goal against a good team who i am sure will keep every man in their own half all game.

We'll p**s it. They already think they've won.
Luke after 2 mins levels things up. Ryan hits them with another after 15 and Darbs rattles in a third just before the break.
The 2nd half is party time JQ comes on for the last 10 and makes it four. Hereford in the final.

I love your optimism Joe - and I sort of agree. We need a win, any win will do. A win by one goal puts into extra-time silver goal. We'll win

Have to say what does encourage me is that this season we have scored goals when we have been playing badly, we have also scored goals when we have never looked like breaking down the opposittion. There is hope, we have a chance, we just need to take it.

I don't see us having a promblem on Monday, Barnet played as well as there going to play last night , Salop were good but we have seen them play better. Ref last night had a good game , however the lino did'nt get his flag up from a Barnet through ball that almost ended up in a one on one situation, because he was 20 yards off the pace trying to play catch up,things like this worry me.
I just hope the officials are switched on and concentrating on Monday Mr Pollock as Jamo said in an earlier thread has give us "f" all this season and has been shocking with his displays, at least if he cocks it up big time the Sky cameras will pick it up.

We need to address a few areas which have hampered us all season:
1- concentration for the duration of the game. Nothing is decided until the ref blows for full time. We have switched off late in the game on too many occasions this season.
2- more clinical in front of goal. We are creating chances, but its taking 6 efforts to score. Not good enough at any level.
3- Teamwork. Every man plays for one another. From recent commentaries/reports/posts it sounds like this has improved lately.
With our good home record and FANtastic home support I dont see why they cant win. However, Barnet are one of the few teams to come away from GM with anything this season. Hopefully that will not play on the minds of the players.
COME ON YOU SHREWS, and KEEP THE FAITH.

"plus we won`t have a stupid pitch"
What, the pitch that's been shortlisted for pitch / groundsman of the year?
I have some straws, which one would you like to clutch?!

a pitch that gives a huge advantage to whoever plays downhill second half can only be described as stupid
