Just hope it's good news for them. I know we're rivals, but I really feel for them.

Personally I don't give a monkey's what happens to Telford. They wanted our money and support to try to help them at their time of need. The only posts I have see on Duck's chat want Barnet to win. It would have been nice given the support and good luck messages from Town fans if Telford fans had wished us good luck in the play-offs. I will now get some Telford fan saying it's only banter. If that's the case I have my reply ready

No my reply is "Hope you go bust ;D" Don't get annoyed though because as you Telford fans love to say "It's only banter" After all it's only a football club it's nothing really important is it. Famine around the world is something important. And look on the bright side you can support a proper team if the mess that's Telford isn't around. One team in Shropshire, There's only one team in Shropshire.

One team in Shropshire, eh? Failed to beat us thought didn't you. And with a £35k wage bill a week, if you don't go up this season or next you'll struggle yourselves

I wonder how much of our wage bill goes on non playing staff so we can have a proper website, communication with the fans, a youth academy. There's certainly only one CLUB in Shropshire and to be honest there's not much doubt over there being only one team

I'm also pretty dismayed by the lack of 'well done' messages from people I thought were decent fans, especially as you got so much support from us. Anyway, you learn lots about people in times like these........

The future of our club - whatever form, will have a massive PR and Marketing boost - from the TUISA business group committee - which involves the business minded individuals of the current supporter base - pig sick of the poor PR our club has and always has had.

And with a £35k wage bill a week, if you don't go up this season or next you'll struggle yourselves Fortunately we have the fans and sensible directors to ensure that we don't struggle, especially financially.

No thanks - no more sugar daddies.
We want a consortium or several financial benefactors - not one man show.

What you want is someone business minded to find you a way out of your mess and put a plan in place to try and ensure you're survival in conference football.

it is shockingly hypocritical of any telford fan to warn us of the danger of sugar daddy chairmen!
We were telling you months ago it would all end in tears and you had even lost your ground, we knew it was a bad situation before you did, so don't go pretending to be the fountain of all knowledge now

shrewsbury have i core fan base of 2,000 people, these people go to every home game and many away. we have up to 15,000 people with a good intrest in us and want to watch the big games. we have our own stadium which could be sold instantly at a cut price. we have new talent coming through our exalent youth system. we have money in the bank. i dont want to jinx anything, but i honestly think SHREWSBURY TOWN WILL NEVER DIE!!!!!!!!!

the line of debate was "don't trust all your future to one man" which you completely ignored
now you are warning us not to do the same
and it was not because his company went bust that you had a problem with Andy Shaw, he had used the property of TUFC to finance an extension of his own business, without linking the two businesses fully, so he appears to have taken what was yours, tried to make loads of cash and has ended up bankrupting the club and losing your major asset
you don't then need to warn us about Colin Poole, firsty he does nto own the club, secondly he does not runt he club, thirdly he had approx £40 million from selling his previous business and fourthly we will have our new ground by then paid for with our own money
unless we are getting screwed, in which case I hope someone warns us now!

£35,000 per week.
How the flip do you know what our wage bill is???
Yes STFC may run into problems, yes the people of shropshire may be fickle, however when STFC is in trouble people rally round, see the attendance towards the end of the great escape season, last season and this season.
This simply can not be said of the people of Telford and Wrekin.
I feel sorry for you, but at the end of the day you have been done over properly and in some respects it will serve you well in the future (assuming you survive) in that you'll have learnt a very valuable lesson and TUFC should in future be run under realistic targets and goals.

A posting on another board reckons the Bank of Scotland want £500,000 a year for a ten year lease on the Bucks Head. So, if Telford can't afford that who the hell do they think would take it? Not STFC certainly. The land is owned by the council and can't see them agreeing to the new stadium being knocked down for re-development...

TUISA was Throbs, just the same old TUFC fans' apathy in operation, no support for Lee Carter (top Bloke!). Look, I'm struggling to stir them up now!! , they think someone is going to wave a magic wand. I think most of this is covered in my article though!
