Cramb will leave STFC in the summer. Taking action now is going to do little to change anything bar increase the chances of him having a disruptive attitude in the remaining weeks of the season.

the QuinnReaper will decide, and he won't miss the chance to raise his stock with the fans - unfortunately.
I wouldn't do any of those things - I'd start by bringing a resolution to the matter that allowed Colin Cramb to improve his state of mind and allowed him to stay at the football club rather than kicked the exit door open.
At this moment he needs an arm round him, and a quiet word and a listening ear.
Is that in the QuinnReaper's repertoire?

At this moment he needs an arm round him, and a quiet word and a listening ear. Is that in the QuinnReaper's repertoire? at the moment he needs a kick in the butt and a slap in the face, and if Quinny isn't the man to do it then I reckon at least 2,000 people who would volunteer having seen that display of petulance tonight last time I saw anyone do that was at a mate's 10th Birthday party when his team didn't win and he threw a wobbly

Maximum Club fine possible for him.
No doubt he knows he on his way in the summer, but regardless, this level of petulance should not be tolerated.
I wonder his team mates think of his actions tonight?

He's finished for me. We could have eventually been down to 9 men if he'd stayed on. Bye.

he replied "i should have started 5 games ago" That shows you the arrogance of the man,

Then, once we have hounded Colin Cramb out of the club, let us never claim the right to complain about the quality of football we pay to see at the Gay Meadow again.

Is one player so important? No. Why should a manager keep a player that is so obviously going to throw his teddies out of the pram every time he's dropped or doesn't agree with the referee's decisions.
The football we've been playing recently is no worse than what it was when Cramb was in the side.

Have to say that I would start with Cramb this Saturday versus M'cambe, Hope JQ thinks the same...

Not much point doing anything.Showing him the exit door in the summer is punishment enough. It can't look good on your cv being dumped by a non-league side.

I think you are spot on Sean. Colin Cramb has simply moved from club to club because no Manager has been able to deal with him. This will test JQ to see if he has man managment ability.

I cant say I had not seen this coming – as I said last night utter disgrace – and that was just how he’s been playing – said to Telford Shrew at Half time it’s the last game he’s played for the club and im 100% it is – the guy has been the biggest disappointment at this club in the last 3 or 4 years and I would sack him
Sadly we cant afford the pay off by all accounts so he can rot back in the reserves where he will ponce about taking this club (and it turn) us for every single unearned penny!!!
Now can all the people who have been going on at me for my thoughts on cramb since well before Christmas see what I was talking about, it seemed easy to hide his problems early in the season when at least he was playing well even if the attitude back then was poor, now he’s having a personal night mare on the pitch as well there is no defence for him at the club and frankly there has not been for some time.
The you look at Darby and even Rodgers last night they were one booking away from hurting this club with a suspension but there professionalism whilst focused 100% on the game is a level that Colin “ lazy/Angry man” Cramb will and can never achieve

That's absolute nonsense Pricey. ;D Darby has shown us that he is more than capable of dissent towards referees this season, as has O'Connor - who was lucky to stay on the pitch last night. I am encouraged by JQ's post match comments towards Cramb. The guy's attitude was awful yes. But lets try and harness the guys talent and make it work for STFC rather than take the easy option. How did you see Crambie's assist for the goal on Saturday Pricey........

I have to disagree...yes he should have taken a while to calm down, count to ten and whathaveyou but from the comments made by Quinn on ShrewsWorld I think it's what some of us hoped had happened when we discussed it on the board last night...
We'd been reduced to ten men through (what many believe) to have been a poor decision, we had just had a penalty given against us (again some think this was a poor decision), he'd just been booked and was getting nothing from the ref but fouls awarded against him...he clearly wasn't happy and if he had stayed on the pitch there was a very good chance he would have been sent off. Now I know a professional footballer shouldn't let his feelings get the better of him (and he is guilty of that) but I think what happened when he was substituted was more frustration towards the officials than to the Town management. No one likes to be substituted, especially if your first team opportunities have been limited in recent times.
I hope this is the case anyhows, whatever the real situation is I'm glad that Quinn has played it down and we can move on and focus on the play-offs. However, it is sometimes best to hear from those involved (i.e. Quinn and Cramb) before jumping to conclusions and having a pop at the lad...making too much out of nothing...

I really don't think Cramb has anything in ways of a defence regarding last night. It's been posted since the start of the season that he backs in and is likely to give free kicks away too much but his reaction was OTT again just like it was in the Trophy match vs Telford and the league game earlier in the season vs Chester.
Can JQ harness his abilities to produce something positive for the club? No. Dario Gradi didn't manage it and 18 other managers haven't since.
Cramb appears to be a player who, unless he's in the first team every week, is going to throw wobblies both on and off the pitch. I don't think anyone has any doubt the guy has a lot of talent but his record of attitude and discipline on and off the field speaks for itself.

Whatever gaz – after – he has set up one goal in about a month – and he was truly shocking last night even before he got all rilied up – missed a sitter, totally missed the ball with a sky kick, then gave the ball away pretty much every time he had it and then put his finger up to the crowd as the dared to question his fight and commitment – then In stead of focusing on scoring to shut his critics (which there are so many of now on the riverside) he went truly mad Darby infractions this season have included – shouting at the ref (the 2 biggest were at telford H/T when we has a bit still but it was against out main rivals and he had been getting stick, and Saturday where he was booked for nothing) compared to Cramb who went silly in a nothing game and for the second time this season it out on the fans and embarrassed the manager. A year down the line we will look back on Crambs time here and nobody will remember the man fondly.

He didn't play too badly before the incident to be fair. Gave a few balls away but so did Darby when he came on.

Can JQ harness his abilities to produce something positive for the club? No. Why not Ant? Before his injury the guy was top scorer and has only been kept out of the team by the form of Darby (which is on the slide from what I've watched in the last 3 matches). I'd like him here next season.

Same here, hope Cramb stays with the Town...his contribution with regards to goals scored also speaks for itself. Looking forward to seeing the lad score the winner come May 16th 2004!!

Unless Colin Cramb is playing week in week out he's proven he's not got the attitude for it.
A very talented player he may be but he isn't the first to not fufil their potential due to his attitude, and he certainly won't be the last.

I would like him to stay as I think he is the most tallented player at the club.
But after last night that is now impossible

To think, I actually said to someone next to me just before kick off that I thought Cramb would have a good game as there was little pressure on us and we would be able to play a bit OK, so what do I know about football?
