Please remember - shame and humiliation was last season.
This season it has taken longer than anyone could imagine to adjust to the standard of football - look at Chester last night - they are top of the division and yet play long ball.
My message to JQ - although the results are all important even more so is attitude - the commitment last night compared to just one week earlier made all the difference and its the commitment every time that we want.

That's OK. Can you make amends and tell me please why the title of this thread comes up in blue on my screen compared to yellow and orange for the others? Is it one of the updates made to the site earlier in the week? Thanks

my personal thought is that if all people do is ask about rumours then it's not going to work. My personal thought is there's an evening's worth of material on the pitch without getting involved in rumours. Thank heavens for Brentford I say.

Can Somebody ask about the Policy on all ticket games please?..Might have been Health And Safety, But i am sure a lot of floating fans would attended the game if the restrictions were not in place.Sometimes it pays to live in Shrewsbury and support the Town just to turn up at the game on an offchance.

Firstly, the manager deserves credit for agrreing to a meeting when he must know that there will be some hostile questions.
Any questions which mention rumours or 'a friend told me...' are a waste of time because no sensible person would answer them. Likewise questions that contain personal insults or individual criticism of any of his playing or backroom staff.
Our club is a very emotive subject for us but questions need to be cool and objective.
Questions need to be 'open', for example:
- can you explain the roles and responsibilities of your backroom staff? - what is the stategy behind having so many strikers in the squad? - when did you identify a weakness at left back and what actions were taken to rectify this? - is it usual practice in football to have non professionals joining in training sessions? - what contingency plan do you have if one or both of the centre backs is unavailable for a prolonged period? - do you prefer a settled formation or do you think tactics should be changed to counter the opposition?
These sort of questions should invite answers that can be followed up by supplementaries.

if you look at the prediction league, most people are minus 40 or 50 goals over the season.
Last season we were scoring goals.
I dont think we are expecting too much. We dont attack, we just try and walk the ball into the net. Most of our goals have been from individual efforts and not team play. I bet our goal assists is the lowest for years.
In pre-season we were scoring goals for fun.
We have Cramb, Darby, Rodgers, Lowe and Banim. On paper this is the strongest forward line that I can think STFC has ever had as a collective.
Just ask the man and dont moan afterwards if something was not covered.

Good questions there by Dave.
I can guarantee there'll be some cringeworthy moments there from people sat in the front row, if it runs like the Tinson/Banim question and answer session (which was excellent save for them).
TrueShrew can vouch for that no doubt.

That was captain birdseye that was!!! Dunno why but he just looks like a sea captain. oh yeah, come to think of it, captain birdseye is renowned for making fish products but has recently moved on to chicken dippers, but how many chickens do you find out at sea?

I agree with the Be Nice thread. We will get far more answers that way. I cannot be there but I am sure you will all ask the questions I have. I wouldn't mind if someone just made the statement to him on my behalf:
We ARE behind the team - all of them. We just want the commitment and enthusiasm that was shown on Tuesday at all matches - we show both - surely it is not too much to expect from the team.
Thanks.
