So what is it? The banter? The not wishing to see you beat us? Explain... I would guess it's sore wounds - though personally I've been anaesthetised (sp??!) by the crap we've played lately. It may also be related to Mick Moans post-match interview on Radio Salop. After several minutes of (quite justified) acclamation of your players' heart and spirit, in response to the question "Can Shrewsbury still make the playoffs?" he replied "I don't care. I don't care about any other club." Good thing we didn't all take the same attitude as Mr Beetroot when Shaw went t!ts up isn't it? Can I have my money back please?

Ah cmon - if Quinn had said "I don't care about any other club" after a victory against us - you'd worship him.
Jones has risen in my estimations these past few weeks - he obviously loves Telford United, which is more than I can say Jimmy Quinn does to you.

£750 so far pledged - more at the game I should imagine And Jones may not have done the best with the money, but his true colours are coming out now - at least our team has spirit about it. And l;ots of it

It's understandable that Town fans are feeling bitter right now but keeping a club afloat and losing in a match are two different and should not be muddled in to one.
Mick Jones got it right, Quinny got it wrong.
They had the desire, we didn't.
We were beaten not by a better side (for the best part of the game) but a side who have been consistantly patient in there approach in every game, they didn;'t attack us, they just played counter attacking football because they knew we would slip up at somepoint.
Yet the thing the amazes me about this situation is that the whole 'going bust thing' has been forgotten about thing by Telford supporters.
The whole concept of 'they'll never beat us' is barmy, TUFC are FUCT in many, many ways and let them celebrate it because no matter how much it hurts to lose, everyday they are looking at the news PRAYING that some investor will come along and bankroll them.
Look at situation, look at the bigger picture and look at at Telford have achieved in in 70 years- two victories, 1 stadium and sweet FA else.
Have your day TUFC, enjoy it, because it could be your last for a very very long time.

If you had any idea how far the concept of worshipping Quinn is from my mind just now... (I'd put a smiley in here, but I've been unable to bring myself to smile since Tuesday.) Seriously, I don't expect eternal gratitude - I doubt our support for you has amounted to great deal materially, more on the moral side (what will you do with a signed Salop shirt?) - but he might have answered that he wasn't really thinking of anyone else after the last fortnight or that he didn't know, or any kind of diplomatic bollox. It just rubbed salt in a bit, but may have been revenge for the Challis thing. (It's not even as if you need the ****ing points!)

And they managed to achieve the total destruction of a businessman, significant redundancies, and a wasting of my council tax on the sandcastle. OH, wait, it was all SHAW's fault, he bought everything, we never agreed, oh no....

This tax thing is silly - how much is it costing you as a single person? Next to nothing I should guess.

For a Council which says it has to tighten every purse string, make us sit on our waste for a fortnight, retain the entire extra amount we used to pay for the fire service in their budget (Which we now actually pay to the Fire Service separately), then say we're lucky the rise isn't as big as they wanted, every penny makes a difference.

I counted 8 telford & Wrekin council transit vans down there this afternoon with a minimum of 2 workers per van , most of them stood around leaning against the perimeter fencing

I can empathise with all points of view. I did go to the Accrington game last night (and wore my town fleece hoodie) and stood behind the Telford goal (Naggington shut) for the most part had no problems with Telford fans 'gloating' there was a bit of harmless banter which is to be expected. There were a few comments behind me that seamed to be aimed in my earshot but nothing to write home about.
I went because Lee and my Dad were going and I had nothing else to do, but even at Kids for a quid and fans (in colours) from Shrews, Stoke, Farnborough, Yeovil, Doncaster, Morecambe, Cheltenham, Stevenage, Burton and a scattering from Accrington they could barely scrape a 2000 attendance and it is disheartening to see that for the true fans there is simply not enough support for the club.
All my efforts are are the moment focused on Salop the team I could not live without, but I have Lee and family members who feel the same about Telford and at the moment its kind of a reality check as to a situation that we could find ourselves in one day.
