I think your being a touch harsh Telfordshrew. I think it looks perfect for the Ryman League.

My god that pitch looks disgraceful - even the SCAT pitches are btter than that.
What's the weather forecast like for Shropshire for the enxt 24 hours? Any chance the game could be called off?

As daft as it sounds lads it doesn't have to have grass on it to make it playable...don't think you can get a real understand of what it's like until you have a walk about on it. Sure the ref will put a stop to the game if its not playable...

Stutty i walked on it and i sank and that was after a quick shower of rain, we either play football or have a farce of game if it rains continually tonight, at pitch level it looks ok, but the truth is , its really shoddy

If this game is postponed it will be Ellie's fifth one in a little over 12 months. Last one being Gravesend.
I have to say i am not optimistic. To be honest that looks crap. If it looks anything like that tomoorw the bloody game will be off.

I do wonder how you can take the p**s out of the NBH when you have the ground you have ? At least we havent had a game called off due to the wind ..lol
Any truth in the rumour they are banning baked beans in shrewsbury on match days???

We're taking the p**s out of your pitch not your groudn in general. But seeing as you started that argument and that i'm feeling in an immature mood - at least we own our ground

Pitch is what it says. And I think games called off is the only thing Telford lead the Shrews in this season, unless size of debt comes in to it.

Pauly: The wind caused hoardings to come off and gales were blowing and d the game was called off for fear of fans/players being injured, not in your clubs case players drowning in quicksand!

Im sure if you had a ground like the NBH you would be happy to get into debt. Instead the only chance you have of relocating your ground is in the river severn
