Quinn leaves Luke out because it is personal.
Great preparation for our game Saturday Jimmy Lording it with you so call mates in Cardiff. He is a real liability now, does not care enough and i agree we need to get him out before he does our club anymore damage.
Not sure about Hill but we do need a change.

Hill is a jackass, never in a million years. Steve McManaman I say.

The decision to turn down Crewe's approach for Luke Rodgers was entirely correct in theory - except Jimmy Quinn has a preference for Jody Banim - who has a similar reputation for scoring goals - but established it two levels below where Luke Rodgers established his.
Personal preference.
At the time Luke Rodgers no doubt figured in Jimmy Quinn's plans but now it seems unlikely.
Rodgers couldn't command more than £50-80,000 now and yet his head is all wrong at the moment, as is Cramb's. As a result the club is wasting vitally important resources.
Quinn will be aware of one thing - he makes a mess of Shrewsbury Town and he will not get another chance at his age.

its widely acknowledged that there have been at least three bids for Luke this season. Two from the one club and one from another, if this is true and I have no reason not to doubt it then the club dont have a leg to stand on! I agree with the Quinn statement, he was dealt harshly with at Reading and Swindon, but has got lucky in landing at STFC at the right time, when money has openly been made available. He will be doing his best to get STFC up, just a shame Luke Rodgers doesnt really appear to feature in his plans.

Surely if you are a good player you can adapt your game to suit the team.I know that Rodgers is never going to win headers but his all round game is poorer this season not just his finishing. On everything seen this season Luke Rodgers does not deserve a place in the starting line up and at least JQ has the balls to drop him. There is more chance of me playing next season than Luke as he will be sold as soon as possible to get him off the wage bill.

DD was the same but JQ persisted to play him , Luke is expected to deliver immediately if he plays one game or comes on as sub. Give Luke the same amount of time as DD has had JQ and persist with him.

JQ would probably argue that he was given the first half of the season and about 10 games after he came back from injury and still he hasn't done it.

Yes your right Luke was given a large part of the season. However the formation changed, the style of play kept changing and the starting line up kept changing. there was little or no continuity in the side, yet despite the team looking crap and playing crap, Luke was expected to deliver results.
He's been slated in the press, singled out as being selfish and not a team player, when we all know there is only one player at STFC who will sprint back 40/50 yards to win back the ball, and forgive me if I'm wrong, but I thought strikers were expected to have a pop at goal if they thought they could score.
Just think back to preseason, Rodgers destroyed a full strengh Darby. His skill has diminished, his confidence is merely shot, and Quinn is doing nothing to help the situation.
Howmany other players in our side, have had two first division teams asking about their availability???

So how many of you know what messers cooke, bates and quinn actually do..?
Do you all adore sven..? Well Sven does nothing, except manager. Sammy Lee does the fitness, Tord the coaching and Sven is there in a God like capacity where the players look up to him and listen to him when he speaks.
Craig Brown was more hands on. But players worked for him.
How many saw Cooke talk to the players at Barnet..? Body Language shows there was no respect.
Why are you lot slagging off Fred Davies..? Do you forget the wonderful free flowing football played when we won the championship..? Freds demise was the board cutting the budget and him having to sell Throb and Co and thus he lost the dressing room. He admits the mistake at Wembley but at least he was the first manager to get us to Wembley.
Why go mad about a 4-0 defeat to the mighty Liverpool...!? It was Liverpool for Gods sake ! The man would have been given the freedom of the town if he had of pulled that one off.
Slag off Ratcliffe.. I dont care.. but he saved us from going down with the worst footballing team I have seen at Gay Meadow and the next season we were 3 points from the play-offs with players left right and centre getting sent off because they battled.. but battled too much.
Who is Mr Shrewsbury. Which manager never gets a slating..?
Hereford for promotion. Let him finish the job he needs to do.
Gary Hill...!?!?! my arse !
Mr T - He did it with us, Wolves and now Hereford.
Keep Quinn and his merry men until GT is available.

Don't understand - if there's no respect for Cooke, why did we put up our best away performance of the season at Barnet?
Fred was not blamed for the 4-0 against Liverpool but for the fact that we gave them so much respect that we were beaten before we started. We woudn't have minded losing 10-0 if we had had a go at them.
