LOL
I've got enough bulk for the whole of the squad ;D.
Am nifty with the elbows, good at diving, brilliant at giving back chat, provoking the opposition and lecturing the ref and oponents and even bettering at shouting random insults at random people.
But I can run reasonably fast.
Trainings at 11am on Tuesday?
Dont suppose anyone could please give me a lift from the bus station (I have to catch the market drayton bus in)?

Ive got to admit, i admire your confidence. I wouldnt mind watching your game myself. As for your comments made about ASFC. Ive got to admit, it made me laugh !! "You will outpace our defence" I dont think so!! Especially when you'v got Gerry and Phil in the heart of our defence and now Andy has shone at right back and Tim at left back. I think that has to be our strongest back four we've had in a while. How can you beat a defence like ours with pace and strength? Especially from a team which lacks experience and strength like yours. Im sorry to say this but you dont stand a chance. Its not only our defence which stands out but we do have a superb midfield aswell. ASFC has the attributes of a superb team. So if the challenge is still there im sure we can sort something out. Oh, by the way.....about the U20's being the No 1 supporters team. Never gonna happen mate!! Aslong as ASFC is still going you'll have to settle for 3rd (after the vets!!)

Well said Dave I think if this game happend at the Stevenage game (which is a free week i belive) i think that you would break the 20+ goals for the season mate!!! After the hard games we have had in recent weeks we need a walk over eh Dave See you sat mate

Like I said, I'm confident with pace. Gerry, Phil and the rest will batter the hell out of me in a physical battle tho no doubt, I've proved in the past when marking the likes of you and Glyn that I'm not built for the physical side of the game. Midfield will be interesting, I think I'm going to be stuck against Ant in central midfield which is quite a baptism of fire, but like I say, what have we got to lose! And what we lack in experience we make up for in arrogance and enthusiasm

Im hoping to hit the 20 mark this saturday. I set myself a target at the beginning of the season to score 20 goals. Im on 19 so i will be chuffed to reach and beat my target.

Like i said, "i admire your confidence". But i think ASFC are too strong for your lads. No disrespect to your team but if you want to compare both teams, in my opinion and i think anybody else who watched us, theres certainly no contest!! As for the comment made about mine and Glynns pace. I seem to recall the many times ive skipped past you in the B&A games!! And certainly gived the odd nudge or two!!

- i forgot about the ones you got against Hereford fair play that a good total for the season - if i get 5 for the rest of the season i will be chuffed as for the Yoofs - fair play to them they will have a go no doubt and im not going to p**s on there chips too much as its nice we can get 3 teams going - even if onlt one of us is the real deal

I said nowt about you or Glyns pace Dave lad, your getting paranoid I have to have faith in my team...I'd be a crap manager if I didn't! Maybe a victory over the ASFC is pushing it at this early stage, but I certainly think we could give you a decent run for your money at least. No reason why we cant beat the Vets and establish ourselves as the 2nd best side tho!

It would be good to get 3 teams together. But theres only 1 original team and it would take alot to beat us. ASFC No 1!!!!!!!!!!!

stevenage game would be good. I'd still be back for it. As for beating you? LOL, well i dont know about that, dont even know if we could give you a decent game, hell i dont even know more than 5 people in the under 20s!!! But hey it'd be a good laugh and something to measure our progress by in future. I say bring it on. Altho' from what I remember of the B+A "friendly" a ref may be required. One that doesnt allow chest high tackles!!!!!!!

Oooh my aching sides, I think I've pulled a muscle Some of the comments on this thread are stunning, have some of your guys been on the old Nandrolome? Peterjones, so you reckon your going to 'outpace' our defence then eh? How about if we team up like a three-legged race to give you all a chance ;D

Jesus christ, you set the bait and then bite bite bite Of course beating the ASFC is more than likely going to be beyond us, I havent even met half my squad or seen them play yet! But what is the point in going into a game without the will to win? You wouldnt want or expect it from your players, I dont from mine. I play to win and I hate it when I dont. I'm willing to bet that at the back of your minds when you play the end of season ASFC v STFC Staff team you are thinking 'well maybe we could just do this...', thats what it's all about! There are alot of young players in our squad and I imagine some will be very nervous about playing in these games. What sort of help would it be to them saying 'yeah about these games...we're going to get hammered'? None at all, and I'll do my best to make sure it doesn't happen! And Giles, you and me, 100 metre sprint, bring it on
