Wales and England both had understrength sides tonight.
Wales went away to a side similar(ish) to who they'll play in the World Cup 2006 qualifiers (Austria), put the best 11 players they had on the pitch for most of the game, and got a well deserved victory.
England p**sed about in a dreadful match to watch, and learned nothing.
Discuss.

never see the point in these fixtures. sven makes to many changes. should have perhaps two fixtures on at a time. englands first choice 16 against their oppo's best 16 with sven managing them in england and in the oppo's country the players he aint sure on ie wright-phillips, smith, robinson etc given more of a chance to prove themselves instead of 20mins per game. maybe even try out a new manager!

A massively under strength Wales beat full strength Hungary.
A slightly under strength England lost to a slightly under strength Sweden, doing so in inept, clueless, incompetent fashion.
Bet the French are terrified....

He always crawls out of the woodwork for the big games, ditto Bellamy and Davies. And there wont be many bigger games than Wales v England at Fort Milennium.
And with Rob 'better than Pele' Savage leading the way we will have no problem ;D

Why do players get paid to mope around like they did tonight
clearly not bothered by the fact they are playing in a competitive match and they had no interest in winning it seemed
Well done Jermain Defoe though for at least trying
COME ON ENGLAND

Do you honestly think Mexico are better than Wales, England or the Republic? Czech Republic just lost to Ireland but are apparently 6th best in the world! USA and Cameroon better than Portugal? Hmm yes, I'm sure! And Costa Rica better than Sweden, yes absolutely! We just hammered Scotland but of course they deserve to be that far ahead of us! Honesty time...would you REALLY place Iraq, Bahrain, Jordan, Democratic Republic Of Congo, Kuwait etc ahead of Wales? The FIFA rankings are a joke
