I have very limited sympathy, too much recent experience of them gloating at us, going on and on about their amazing stadium, multi millionaire director that could buy them into the league, etc. Then when they beat us, for the most part the majority are ungracious in victory.
can you imagine how they'd be acting if the boot was on the other foot - it'd be terrible, especially at the match soon.

It is hard to feel sorry for them at the moment, my mind keeps going back to the Telford fan who opened a 50 year old expensive scotch to celebrate our relegation. He has another bottle which he was saving for when Town would go bust ! Two things, I bet he doesn't feel like celebrateing today and secondly he probably won't phone five live shouting his mouth off ! So right now it's good riddance Telford.

Andy Shaw the saviour? Andy Shaw to buy you success? you all believed it and thought you had it made - too good to be true? so it seems.

have to say i felt shocked, stunned and actually quite gutted when i heard. Feel really sorry for the fans. Of course there are a few who gloated about the situation they had but we have plenty of supporters who would do the same every club has. Forget local rivalry this is serious and is a wake up call that all football clubs are in danger if not run properly. To all the telford fans on this board i hope all works out and im sure it will Keep the faith!!

Why oh Why did a 65 year old Telford fan get the dogs abuse off telford fans he did last night when he tried to break the news at 9pm on bucks chat "F*** Off !!!" "F*** Off back to Blue and amber!" etc, etc, etc He told you he was a Telford fan, he told you he was 65 and had been supporting the Bucks for 40 years, he even told you the source of his info!! But no, lets just abuse "The B&A W*****" I hope someone has had the good grace to appologise to the bloke today.

Dont hink I could bring myself to rub it in by chanting that kind of stuff. If however someone comes in and saves them, which I hope they do ( if they dont GM will have 500 yam yams every game ;D ) then its all fair game.

let's be honest here, at the Telford away game 2800 people are going to give them grief all night, there is not a lot of doubt about that, it is going to happen and no-one can stop it
BUT that 2800 people is also £28,000 for starters towards paying wages, so it's not all bad

First of all thanks for all the good wishes from a lot of you . As much as some of us don't like Shrewsbury i think that if the boot was on the other foot not many at all would be gloating at your misfortunes and would indeed wish you well. There have been a few idiots on our board wishing us the worst but that was to be expected. I've been gutted all day at the news that we may not have a club anymore i'm sure that will brighten some of your days up.But like i said most of you have been fantastic Cheers

I think people are being a little harsh on Afro here for his initial comments.
There will be Town fans at the league game who take the pi$$ out of TUFC's position for 90 minutes - that's how football is, they'll see it as football banter.
If the situation were reversed, I'd have no doubt that the majority of TUFC fans would feel sympathy for us but at the end of the day we're rivals and I'd expect pi$$ taking from them

I'm sure there will be mickey taking all night long, even though almost all that are doing it will hope they survive in some shape or form
Me? I'm more hoping to getting 3 points - if we get them I would promise not to utter a word. ;D

We seem to be split on here as to whether it's right or not but for sure its going to happen. Most of our fans are anti-racist but that didnt stop a minority of racist chants in the last game. A larger minority seem to be satisfied with whats happened to Telford this week. My own view is that we should think up a couple of pro Telford chants, wait for the applause and then a couple of loud choruses of The Telford Family- football banter at its best
