The other threads cocked up so just adding an continuation..................
I argued on buckschat a while ago now , that there east stand had no future plans to be developed, i knew the situation regarding no changes of the ground , but was laughed off by a couple of there regular posters, i did'nt bother to continue the debate because i heard it from the horses mouth. I did not know the full extent though of the financial side of things. It is sad no one wants to see any f/ball club go out of business and im sure there club will find some kind of buyer eventually.

Sad day indeed.
It would appear football league or bust for Telford this season.
If its any comfort at all to Telford fans look at the team that beat us the other night.
So all hope is not lost.
Keep the faith, you Bucks.

maybe the wrong time to say it but given that
a. telford utd are now in big big financial trouble and desperately need money/might not be able to refuse offers b. shrewsbury need some new players (eg. a left back pernamently, a couple of wingers and some central midfielders - with 3 injured) c. its transfer deadline day very soon
what's the likely hood of shrewsbury signing someone like ricketts today?

Andy Shaw has seen an opportunity to go into adminstration whereby TUFC pay a fraction of their debts and remain unpunished by the conference. I feel that this headlong leap into adminstration is a direct result of the conference scrapping plans for penalties this season for clubs going into adminstration, ie Exeter City FC. Andy Shaw hasn't been a successfull businessman by missing opportunities like this, it seems like a master stroke to me. The thing is TUFC now have all the facilities they need, so the next owner will only have to pay 10% of the clubs current liabilities and will be able to invest heavily in the squad in future years. Another kick in the teeth for clubs like STFC who play things by the book

is it?
I'm sure one of the directors just said that the hotel would continue to trade
although radio shropshire seems to have forgotten about the whole thing judging by the rubbish they're currently playing!

half a million pounds in debt
a director has just said "do the people in telford want a club?" if its a 5000+ attendance on saturday they'll know they do"
need a financial backer, surely they can't be many people able to do that, they've just had their sugar daddy and it hasn't worked.
mick jones says: 'i know for a fact i'll be getting offers today, but they'll be no cheap deals, but i'm resigned to losing a few players'
andy shaw ex chairman now apparently
