Abso-bloody-lutley. He puts in more effort getting on to the pitch than Cramb does in a whole game, and he scares that s**t out of any defenders because he looks about ready to eat them.....if I was a conference defender I'd fancy playing against Cramb more than Darby any day.

Duane's goalscoring record and number of assists has had them shaking in their boots.........
How on earth did Halifax and Accrington manage to contain him?

I actually agree with you gp on hard working players- industry is necessary for most players at this level to get the most of their talent but if effort is the only asset that a player has got (eg Rioch this season) then show them the door- good example from the past which should provoke a some comment- Tommy Lynch his distribution would have made Rioch look like a Brazilian PS: I am not ageeing with you again gp- all season

The news about him being available was in the Chronicle. Couldn't reply to the other thread. About bloody time too, he shouldn't have been signed in the first place!

Greg rioch, no matter how bad he has been, hasnt stopped us from winning games we'd otherwise have won.
The reason we are in the play-offs is because our strikers cant play together, we dont really have an effective right midfielder and we dont have any reserve central defenders.
Left back is as Clough said a position where you can afford to carry a player. We should have far more serious concearns about the weeknesses in the other parts of our team than hounding Rioch.
As for hiding GPricey, well yes he ****s up, but at least he doesnt dissappear, he comes back for more, he carries on trying, and yes he does have his moments when he lifts the crowd.

"sorry but i could try 100% (well i always do) but would anyone be sorry to see me leave. "
Holy cr@p, you claim you always put in 100% (an achievement in itself you truly are a marvel) but cut Gregor some slack, do you always achieve 100% of your aims? B0llogs do you? A move for Gregor is undoubtabley the best thing for the club but I can still remember some class performances from him (granted few lasted 90mins) and I see no reason for the pi$$ to be taken. While we are lingering on the cusp of the subject are there any other secrets you are bound from revealing? perhaps by the official secrets act? roswell? JFK? the mystery of myself and skips' unending enthusiasm for sarcastic and often agressiv posts? a higher authority you are indeed.....

this whole debate is pointless
he has been very disappointing and his signing proved to be a mistake so he is being released
end of story

The right move for Greg without a doubt, but Darby is going nowhere and why should he? for the past season and a bit he has been playing understudy and Rushden and is yet to get into the thick of things here, but Im sure before long he will.

is that true. Are we paying him off then Throb? If we're not, then he is not being released, he is merely free to leave when he wishes, there is a subtle difference.
If you read this, please can you tell me who coind the phrase
"God is good all the time, All the time is God is good"
Its just been bugging me for ages, and is often said in the local church.
cheers mate.

i know the difference between being paid off and being put on the transfer list, but thanks for the lecture i bet everyone was really confused by my grave error as for that term, to be honest I have never really been involved with a traditional church that says blessings and stuff like that too often I imagine it is just a common blessing like saying "The Grace" or something like that I very much doubt it is a phrase from a particular person, but rather an encouragement that became part of the Churches liturgy (programme) over time, but my church doesn't use a liturgy or set prayers so i'm not up to speed on them. I am sure you will find some point in the new testament when the disciples used a similar greeting or encouragement, and that got taken on into church life so people in the church remembered the truth even in hard times but as I say, ask me one on Matt Redman and i'll be ok but i don't really know
