Post on conference website re "the cost of haircuts by you". LoyalShrew has posted £9 as being the cheapest ! Where will that be LS ? Certainly not Shrewsbury as there are plenty cheaper (although £9 may be correct as the cost of a TEXT haircut !) Seems to have confused a few as Shrewsbury is the most expensive place for a haircut in England they reckon. "Rocket Ron" in Monkmoor cuts hair at £4.50 a go, although you do walk out looking like something off Star Wars

Its well expensive over here...
Stuttgart don't seem to have your barber type places and so you have to go to the arty farty type salon places who look at you as if you've shat on the counter if you say you don't want yer head wetted before hand...
Cheapest I've found it about 12 pounds and thats a discount that I've managed to sort out cos I don't have the cups of tea and shampooin'...
Now 'Straight' Dave in Rugeley, he'll cut yer barnet for about 3.20...

ant & phil: if you fancy saving a paaaaa, i got my haircut in hammersmith for the princely sum of £8 yesterday - the greek/turkish-run (not sure) place by the H&C station. no nonsense, classic barber shop. no patch on good old vic breeze though!!

I paid £15 5 years ago for a head shaving kit, and its paid for itself loads of time ........... except the pony tail phase i went through. Having 3 sons aswell who like their head shaved its been a great investment.
