To be honest, with the squad and quality of players at his disposal, this really isn't good enough....
But I still think we can do the play-off's though so no blood yet...

As far as I'm concerned, the play-offs are guaranteed.
But some of JQ'd decision making over the last few months has been awful and I'm just praying we can be the lucky one from four.

play-offs are a realistic hope i think.
5-0 tho they must be having a howler.
idon't know what else to say. we're also back down to fifth with exeter 2 points behind. everythings gone tits up.

Dave Cooke worries me every time he opens his mouth. What is his job?!?! Quoted after Northwich as saying we were now consistent so this shows what he knows. He said we've been playing well of late but that's nonsense. You can count on one hand the number of games where we've really played well this season. In fact, chop a couple of fingers off that hand and you still could...

Well said JP - it was about 12 months ago when we really started shipping goals, and we wouldn't believe the evidence of our eyes. Was Quinn's response to bring himself on by any chance?

In the Star yesterday we had the headline" we have started to show our potential" Whats that, the potential for a second relegation?

come on jp you cant be serious? we have only lost a handful of games, granted ouraway form needs to be adressed, its not a new thing either, we should have sorted it out by now though?

Was Quinn's response to bring himself on by any chance? Yes, he brought himself on for Rioch at halftime, how can he possibly bring himself on before Darby

Look folks, it's only 1 game.
It's the second game for the lads within 2 days. So far this season, we've let in 15 goals in 13 away matches. Best to let in 5 in a game and lose, instead of 5 in 5 games and lose all of them.
This is just a little hiccup along the way back to the League.
We've now played 11 at home and 14 away compared to Chester 14 at home and 13 away. With the two games in hand and the home match against Chester, we have still got a mighty chance of being in with a shout at the end of the season.

Get a grip on what?
Were going for promtion and we lose 5-0 and yes it was without a whimper. The lads on comentary said without a fight. Billbo texted me and said "no fight"

"We are starting to show a level of consistency" - well there was an element of truth in what DC said - just a BIG pity we cannot play the bottom club every week!!
2 games in 3 days is no excuse - it is to do with attitude (was not a problem for Telford today) - are some of the players beginning to fall for that "we are the biggest club in the division" rubbish too!!!

Tell me what good do either Cooke or Bates do at GM? I honestly dont know one. Cooke is an unqualified coach and Bates is our former manager/coach brought back to the club just to please some supporters.
We have only beaten one team this season..Hereford, our other victories have been scrappy. Todays defeat would also have not been too bad had we shown fight.

I'm very disappointed but this warmongering is way over the top-It wasnt long ago that we turned over Hereford United 4-1-I think every team gets a stuffing now and again. So we get ours and hopefully it will be a turning point for The Shrews. Nice to see Rioch getting subbed though.

We're 5th in the table but to be honest I think that flatters us a bit, with the exception of the Hereford game we haven't really played well all season and don't look convincing away from home. I'd say the board should give Quinn some cash to improve the squad, but having seen some of his signings (Rioch, Bell, Street and Darby) they probably want to keep some cash in hand for next season and a new manager.
