Going back to the Wolves fan original point. I think it should be pointed out again to him that the Riverside\Wakeman was full and fans were locked out -unlike the Station end -so what point is he trying to make exactly? As far as I can see if Telford had sold their allocation then the ground would have full.
Perhaps he'll ignore this simple fact as he did earlier on in the thread

I remember different posts of concern regarding the amount of tickets STFC will get or be given for the game in Feb, considering our away support this season for local derbies have been close 2,000/2,000+ also bearing in mind that Chester,Burton, leigh,Tamworth(last season Kiddy&Wrexham) were all tuesday night games , what if they were saturday games?(Rushden on a sat lock out). Capacity for away end at the BH off top of my head is 200 odd seats 1,300 terrace total 1,500 tickets, ground capacity approx 7,000 telford will have an increase on the day but will be intresting to see if allocation would be increased and more of the ground will be made available to STFC fans probably seats if so? Anyway after typing all that it's probably irrelervent as the game is likely to be midweek fixture any how either fri night on sky,or rearranged because both or one of the clubs will be playing in the FA trophy on the sat

Bally for some one who claims not to be sad enough to remember what everyone says, you do seem very keen to come on here and remind us what we said. I get the impression thet you are a very sad little boy (almost said man, but I doubt it) Why don't you stop whittering on about your fan base when it is obvious you cannot and will not ever get more than 3000 fans! and thats only if Wolves are away. Take Lee with you and enjoy watching Telford but don't think we are interested in it!

our capacity is 6700 currently and no doubt when shrews visit we'll fill our part of the stadium and youll be stuck with a poxy 1500 (tough s**t!) 5000+ Telford fans? extremely unlikely!

why?? the fair weathers will be out, the attraction of it being on tele and the fact its telford shrews will bump the attendance straight up, i didnt mean to post we'd fill all ours but id think easily 4000. who on earth thought that we'd take 1500 or whatever to yours? i certainly didnt but the attraction of the game brought everyone out like it will in february.
oh and shrewsbadger why should i go? you tell us to stop going on about our fan base when your fan base continually go on about it. so we dont get 3000 a game - what does that prove?? we know we dont have a big fan base but dont actually care that much because aslong as im there then what difference does it make?
the thing that gets on my nerves is that some of you think we should give you more of the ground to accomadate you - to be honest id be appaulled if we did that. and you wont get more seats telford shrews becasue of the season tickey holders seats, id imagine.
badger if me and bally are to leave can you pick your lot up off bucks chat on the way home?

I’d put money on Town fans being the only supporters in the world who’d rather top the Nationwide Conference average home attendance table rather than the Conference itself…

Just a whisper i heard, you heard it here first.
We accomadated chelsea a few years back giving them Half the riverside.
Tamworth made an effort to accomadate more of us and would have if the police did'nt say no.
Chester this season made additional space in there home end for us this season,
the few there mentioned all have crowds that won't fill there home end capacity and have there fair share of season ticket holders.

Several reasons 1) Because they're proud and why not, we've been humilated by another relegation and the fans have responded amazingly. 2) Because we are at the top of the attendance charts - and it gives the fans something to shout about! We're not exactly setting the league alight in the football sense but in terms of support we are. PS Remember it wasn't a Town fan who started this thread ;D

But I think he's just being sarcastic, there is a lot of talk about Salop's attendances, although quite a bit of it is instigated by supporters of other clubs.

;D ;D ;D 'Revaap2004 & shrewsbadger you both need to lighten up i didn't realise i had come on here slagging anyone off or being nasty towards anyone i was meerly making a point .I thought the thread was going along ok until you 2 sad muppets decided to lower the tone,go back to the Cbeebies website,if enough people say i'm not welcome on here then i will disappear no problem? My apologies to you all as i didn't realise there were Shrews fans locked out it certainly looked like you could get plenty more on the riverside especially near to the away end, obviously not.

Just to add to this spicy debate, the club have confirmed there were 1100 Telford fans there on Tuesday
That's 5600 Shrewsbury
Which I think you'll agree is enough to fill your ground ;D
And yes, I only go on about attendances because I am deeply proud of our magnificent support and good behaviour this year.

lol Throbs as our average home att is 1700 and something, thats a pretty high percentage for an away following then well over 50%. A lot of ex-league teams in their first season in the Conference continue to get decent crowds its when they have been here for 2 or 3 years they dwindle away.Whether that happens at Shrewsbury remains to be seen?

As we will be striaght back up into the Football League we will never know ;D
I have posted before that the game should be switched to Molineux for two reasons.
1. Our expected 2,500-3,000 fans who want to attend the game can.
2. Most of the Telford fans who want to attend the game know who to get there better than the Bucks Shed.

Of course I'm havin a laugh our kid...sorry, I guess I should have popped a ;D on the end...
I'm well happy that we're getting decent support home and away...great stuff!! But I'm not really into this "we could fill your ground" malarkey...not quite sure what that’s supposed to prove...
The only thing that matters to me is how we get on on the pitch...and if I were forced to take the p**s out of Telford it would be that we're 4th with real genuine promotion aspirations and they’re not...
