No I wasnt at the game, but I have been to plenty of other away games in the pst few seasons when we have been poor and just folded. Exeter is the most recent, for most of the game the team showed no backbone and got battered. Winning away from home is not about winning in style it is about churning out as many points as you possibly can.
This is what some people don't seem to understand.

Couldn't agree more Selleck. Some people on here still seem to think that we should be steamrollering teams like Margate, why? We do not have a divine right to expect that, nor should we expect a "Hereford performance" every week. I'm sorry, but I will be more than happy to accept another 20 c*@p performances this season as long as they produce another 20 wins for Town.

In fairness that willnot happen if we produce 20 crap performances we would be lucky to get 7 or 8 wins all at home - trust me if we play like we have been recently away from home at Hereford, Barnet and Telford - we will getting humiliated like the town did to hereford at home!!! - Its worrieing

It is not uncommen for salop to raise their game against those teams who are percieved to be better and challenging for the championship. Think back to when we beat Plymouth then lost to Macclesfield, or when we beat Everton and lost at home to Southend etc.. Are we a reactionist team, our performance depends upon the reputation of our opponents? As for playing crap and winning, well quite a few people have pointed out that we have been crap all season, yet we lie in fourth, why can't we be rap after Xmas and still be picking up wins?
