So we should start getting the next away kit sorted now? Nowt wrong with getting things in place now even if the shirt isn't introduced for another year. Why doesn't the club just chance its arm and go with a leading sports brand? Just as an experiment if needs be, see if this will have any impact on sales? An away kit and other leisure merchandise from a leading sports brand? Would supporters mind having different brands for the home and away kit? Surely it would be worth the club just giving it a go to see if there is an impact on sales and an increase in revenue? Also, we were asked to put questions to the Commercial Group on the message board...were they asked and what was the feedback?

think you might find that 1886 is a trademark of kronenbourg...
persoanlly i love the shrew and think it's the only unique image we have, we own it and should push it more.. it's the only short word that is unique to us like wolves, saddler, baggies etc you go shrews and people know who your on about..
there's so much you can do with it, blue or amber t-shirts with massive shrew on the back and small 'shrewsbury town fc' on centre front. do shirts with the image distressed and noise added, simple way to change it and make it look nicer... old skool adidas rip off trackies with shrew badge on the front and SHREWS on the back, nice.. all things are simple but can only be done with the shrew..
having just been to hamburg and seen how st pauli use their skull and crossbones i'd kill to have town have something like that.

I'm not sure a shrew compares to skull & crossbones I did not like the shrew when it was introduced, but the fact it was on a white shirt did not help I think Kronenbourg use 1668 as a trademark.....

Shrews Collection doesn't sound to bad. The question is..... Could you think of something else? There was a whole thread on here that was about 3 pages long with people's suggestions. There were at least 5 or 6 that had genuine marketing opportunity which unfortunately the club seem to have over looked. Never mind, at least we have a 'brand name' in "meadow collections" , it's better than nothing even if it does sound a little naff

Had a look at a sweatshirt last night with Shrews Collection on and it looked really good to be honest. However 1886 will be a winner for B and A I cna see it !!
