Tom Hark always gets the crowd going, Catch us if you can is a classic; but I think we need either something that will create a wall of noise from the crowd to intimidate the opposistion or a tune that will intimidate them. The atmosphere at Swansea was amazing and must have been intimidating to the town players as they ran out. Any ideas?

Didn't we try Tom Hark at most home games in the relegation season - didn't do much then

It's nice to be different. How many clubs play that Tom Hark tune? My bet would be lots.

As Peters has announced he wants an younger squad next season how about:
"Teenage Kicks" (John Peel used to go to Shrewsbury school and must have been to the odd town match)
or
anything by Musical Youth
that "Young Guns go for it song" by Wham.
"19" by Paul Hardcastle
or "Young at Heart" not sure who its by
(Probably just shown my age with these record choices can't think of any for the 90's!)

Catch us if you can is just about everyones choice, perhaps the music that is played before it could be a bit more stirring stuff? Can't we annoy away teams with goal music now as well ;D or would it get on your nerves?

Goal music is horrible. It puts a real dampner on celebrations with rubbish such as Hey Baby or Song 2 blaring out at you. You cannot improve on the sound of people celebrating.

Fair enough, i've not been to a game where there is music played, just heard it over the radio and it does rub salt into the wounds

If we were to ditch Catch Us If You Can (I hope we don't), then I would quite like 'Right Here Right Now' by Fatboy Slim or the theme tune from The Racoons...

Theme music from itchy and scratchy, ending with the Peters and Wadsworth show ;D

Keep Catch us if you can, but have a regular tune played before, suggest Telstar by The Tornados. Very similar to Apache by the Shadows as sung(?) by the Shots fans at The Brittania.

it has to be "catch us if you can", but if it has to change, then it MUST be Blitzkreig Bop by the Ramones.

Yep, thats right. Can still remeber how annoyed I got at Stevenage last year firstly with the Cr@p defending that led to their goals and even more so to the GOal music. Glad they didn't come up Isn't it time to get even with these teams though? ??

Just imagine how you would feel to beat Wrexham or CHester next season with a dodgy last minute goal AND know their supporters were even more p:$$ed off because of the Goal MUsic ;D

Agree with BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN...its non pretentious, unlike Catch Us If You Can...sadly we keep proving that most teams can catch us, and overtake us. Boys are Back in Town is a good tune and simply says, we're back in front of our home crowd, give us your support
