Nikedas Lets not have a name on it. Lets have a small insignia based up one of our old badges rather than making up a name. Everyone comes back to Shrewswear - which is old fashioned. Or R7 inside a motif that represents the river severn - an upside down omega or smething. But whatever it is soemthing small and unobtrusive - think the size of a guitar plectrum.

faginwear Not sure the players would fancy being decked out like a butler to be honest... R7 sounds a good'un...I agree a small insignia is the best option. Maybe a competition for the fans to come up with a name and insignia? Is that not possible?

Can we not just have the badge centrally positioned if that would look better?

How about just having something like 'founded 1886' or just simply '1886'

Personally very very small and unobtrusive would be the way to go, I like Phil and his suggestion of 1886

B&A with a loggerhead. That would also mean they were stuck with the colours!

I were thinking of '1886' meself today (honest)...indeed I was thinking about anything about the club that we could use...the ground, year formed, nickname, colours, etc...
'1886' sounds good...
