Apparently these are three siginings that will be made in the summer.
1) Lee Lawrence (we had on loan from Man U). The bloke who told me works around the youth set up there.
2) A right back from Watford (he was at Watford on Saturday apparently).
3)Neil Ashton permanent (not really news)

We are supposed to be signing a young lad named Thomas Field, plays in centre midfield, thats what i've heard from a mate of his and Neil Ashtons

Would love to see Lee Lawrence but is there much connection at the Meadow these days from when he was here before? Can't really see it happening myself.
Also is Lawrence strong enough for the type of game Peters obviously has in mind?

Trouble with that rumour is that it conflicts with the rumour that G.P is looking at a right back from Watford. Dyer is a 6ft 30yr old centre forward who apparently needs to score more goals. Didn't G.P have a Watford full back play as a trialist in a reserve game recently?

I saw Lee Lawrence play for Man Utd reserves against Forest reserves earlier this year. He really needs to put on some upper body strength; the Forest attacker he was supposed to be marking was just brushing him aside. I did enjoy watching Lee play for us in the Conference though. He had some innovative flair with some of the balls he put forward that we could do with at the moment.

Where's all this he was at watford business come from? So another member of this board told me he was at another League 2 game and putting 2 and 2 together (probably coming up with 5), but i think a previous player of ours maybe returning

Bruce Dyer scores just under a goal every 3 games.
If you consider the teams he has played for, who have hardly set the world alight in recent years (bar the odd promotion) thats not a bad scoring record, especially considering its a mostly championship record with the odd season in league 1 and the premiersh!te.
Iyesden Christie? Been injured all season at Kiddie, but has and can score the odd goal?
Lee Lawrence may not be the biggest player but he handled himself well enough in the conference which lets be honest is more brutal and crude a league than division 3 is.

The comment about Dyer, Rob, was from a long suffering Watford season ticket holder who claims his opportunity to conversion ratio could be better. 3 goals from 34 appearances last season better this year though, 43 appearances 11 goals. Personally I think the chances of us getting him are very slim indeed, although my season ticket holding friend is quite exited about the prospect of our own under performing (this season) centre forward going the other way.
