Nice to see that ALL Jester y supporters have come to our Messageboards to gloat about struggling at the bottom of the league. Which side of the Deva ground do you lot stand on? The English side or the other half thats in Wales? Looking forward to the easy 6 points for the town in chesters relegation season 05/06.

i would argue that a goal record of a goal every three games would make Rodgers one of the better strikers in this league.
I would also argue that you have a good signing in Lowe, but he's not as good as you are making out, anyone would think you'd poached Moss or Rodgers off us.
And I'd also argue that he is a hard working playing who covers a lot of ground. A good team player, who throughout his time at STFC didn't act like the "big I am" some have implied he likes to act like.
Good luck to Ryan.
No chester fan will however answer my question. How viable are Chester in the short, medium and long (after Vaughn) term on gates of 2,000 and with loans and debts of £3mill plus?
Are you lot not worried???

I think all City fans appreciate on these gates we're never going to get better than the bottom half of the league. Not forgetting we've had a poor season and if we were higher up our gates would be much better - not to mention the poor tactics employed by Rush.
These loans have been required to pull us back from the abyss after a lunatic chairman almost sent us bankrupt, if it weren't for them we'd be in York City's position. So if you consider that, you can see why all Chester fans are so happy with what has happened.
ABout how viable we are, if you look at our gates they're about the 6th worst in the league - which is about right if you consider our league position. Before things got tough we were averaging gates of over 3000 - easily enough to remain in the league. As i say, if things get better on the pitch next season they will go up once again. So no HMA, i'm not overly concerned at the momment.

Chester and Shrewsbury arguing over whose had the better season is like two bald men arguing over a comb. We're both bitterly disappointed with how things have panned out this year considering the highs we each enjoyed last season. Granted, maybe we didn't expect promotion (some of us ) but i don't think either club thought they'd have struggled to the extent we did. YES you beat us 5-0 YES we've got Ryan Lowe YES you get bigger gates YES we're two points clear..at the end of the day we're both safe and although we haven't done the conference proud this year we've both competed and been good enough to earn other try next year...look at poor old Kiddy and Cambridge. Hell, we've both even been neck and neck with Notts C and Grimsby this season - fancy that! To be fair we get Shrews fans on our board making comments and it's all great as a banter, that's why we're here, but to get as out of hand as some posts have is pointless. League 2 survival for the Shrews and the Seals Ha Ha BambiChester lad!!! Best and obviously most 'grown up' post from you lot all weekend, it find it such a mystery that Chester fans want to come on here and make such pathetic remarks and insults espeically as we have both had 'nail biting' seasons and diced far to close to the dreaded drop!!! It was nice to beat you 5-0, justice for the '3 points' we were robbed of at the Deva but personally i couldn't give a monkey's testicle if we dont finish any higher than you and u win your last three games and we dont. At the end of the day we are both safe and need to build for next season and the future and i wish Chester luck next season and im sure 'most' town fans would agree cos' we wouldn't of wanted the manager v chairman farce you've had this year at our club!!! Good luck (apart from when we play you )
