Why? What is daft? Where are your reasons for quoting this? A simple question linked to "which would you prefer to watch?" and asking "which you would prefer to play for?". Because you've chosen a couple of extreme examples to make your point. I think that might be why eh said it was daft.

Daft - because they are two extreme and poor examples. Please explain, in your humble opinion, why they are extreme examples and why they are poor examples. Maybe asking the question of choosing between either having a cr@p team or a cr@p stadium is rather extreme?

Because Rushden are in debt and are at the foot of the League, whereas Luton are recovering and on the verge of the Championship. A better example may have been: Hull a couple of years back - sound financial footing, mid table Division 3, great facilities OR Grimsby - Poorish facilities, struggling in Division 2 a couple of years back, small crowds etc.

R&D's problems had not yet arisen and Luton were on the verge of going out of business. However, all this is history and you appear to be trying to read things into what was a simple question: If you were a professional footballer and you had a chance to play at either of those clubs which would you choose?

Luton for me Then again I'd like to watch a great team in a great stadium. Having said that my preference would be to watch Shrewsbury at the Gay Meadow over AFC Telford at the New Bucks Head.

Ok sorry. So do I sign for the skint club in danger of going into non League or for the club trying to get promoted to the Championship? Hmmmm. Guess I'll go for Rushden and Diamonds, as it is closer to my parents house in Wrexham.
