Looking at how GP has brought on the talents of Dave Edwards, Jamie Tolley and Sedge, I can't help wondering what he might have done for Karl Murray? Always thought the lad had the makings of a quality player.

yeah, Murray had everything, he was a bit stronger than Tolley
But it is all ifs and buts, and not as bad as letting Currie go for free

It really shows you just how pants the previous regime was when you see what Peters is getting out players Quinn had virtually written off......................

i have a mate who goes to see a lot of Woking games and the popular belief is they can't believe we just let him go.

I liked Karl Murray. 3-1 home to Brighton last game of 2000-2001 ran the game with Tolley.

karl was a great prospect , had his confidence shot to sh*te when ratcliffe played him at centre half and then quinn played him centre midfield pre season 2003/04, playing very well before being dropped and told he wasnt up to it by the great man.

For "not up to it" read "requires coaching".

How can he have had a spell on non league football?
He played in Div 3 and the next season he was back in Div 2 after a 200k transfer to Wycombe
dunno how that is teaching him a lesson?
