Our favourite Telly Tubby has a new job. He has just been appointed for a second spell at Rotherham following the sacking of Leam Richardson.

Can’t they still make the play offs ? Pretty harsh on Stevenage and their fans that.

Just when Rotherham fans thought it couldn’t get any worse with relegation ………… it does!

Just when Rotherham fans thought it couldn’t get any worse with relegation ………… it does! Dont agree with this at all. His previous spell involved back to back promotions and then he kept them up in the championship. If anything he's built that club and is one of the main reasons they consistently yo yo between l1 and championship.

Yep, I would expect Evans to have Rotherham in the top 3 all next season- who knows, we could meet them in the playoffs

Each to their own. For me Steve Evans is a vile individual. If that’s what Rotherham fans think then they are welcome to him.

Why on earth would this be done / announced before the end of the season?

Why on earth would this be done / announced before the end of the season? gives him 3 games to help decide who's retained, they probably will have paid stevenage , and maybe its been on the cards until stevenage are as good as out of the play off race

What would be Town fans reactions if we had appointed Evans in place of Taylor back in January I wonder?
Go on, who would have accepted him and who wouldnt?

what did he actually do to make some give him the stick they do ? Remember his time at Boston? www.skysports.com/football/news/2394265/evans-escapes-jail-sentenceBetween April 1997 and June 2002, Evans and Malkinson carefully disguised wages, fees and bonuses for players as expenses. He left Crawley on 9th April to become manager of Rotherham for the 1st time. So he's left a Club in April before. Evans was appointed manager of League One side Peterborough United on 28 February 2018, one day after resigning from Mansfield. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Evans_(footballer,_born_1962) He's signed a 3 year contract with Rotherham.

Oh just remembered wasn’t he banned for receiving a bung at Boston a long time ago? Remember our first game at Crawley, his black Range Rover with personalised plates was parked at the ground, the tax was a month out of date which caused bit of a fus with photos on here I think.

He has probably got a much better chance of success with Rotherham than he has of getting Stevenage to over perform for a second season in a row.

Don’t like him as a person, but grudgingly admire what he achieves as a manager. RW would never appoint him IMO, but if we ever did, he would have my support, as would anyone we appointed.
