A couple of key games in league 1 & 2 this evening.
Cheltenham need a win tonight otherwise it's league 2 for them next season.
In league 2, Barrow & Doncaster looking to get into the play offs.

Cheltenham take an early lead! I thought about this last night, it would be great if Cambridge go down, ( without checking is that still possible ? ) Cheltenham & Burton are equally good away days , never actually been to Cambridge , Histon was the closest and that was enough

Peterborough have made a host of changes with Ferguson saying he’s focusing on the play offs. If we were still in trouble I’d be fuming at that, as no doubt burton and Cambridge fans are.

Goal difference would be very tight too

It’s actually quite nice not to be incessantly checking other teams scores on a Tuesday night!

morecombe coming up instead of wrexham. They've sorted league one out now, at one point Reading & Wigan were going up!

Burton's last game is Fleetwood A Cambridge's last game is Port Vale A.
Are either of those already relegated Clubs going to put in the effort?
Meanwhile, Cheltenham are at Stevenage.

Luke Leahy has equalised for Wycombe.
If Cheltenham win and Cambridge lose on Sat, then Cambridge will go down on goal difference.

Cheltenham were in the last chance saloon tonight but they got a result - however they must still be favourites for the drop as Stevenage are a big physical side who are hard to beat.

One of the stewards told me it was the coldest ground in the league because of the wind blowing off the Fens. I didn't believe it could be but needed a hot shower after the match to thaw out. It wasn't even a particularly cold day.

Ten wins in a row for Doncaster, now 5th after being (I think) bottom earlier in the season. Nobody will want to face them in the play offs, least of all Barrow (1 point from their last 6 games).
Bradford City coming up fast on the rails too.
Could be a good few Yorkshire clubs to play next season if one of them goes up, with Rotherham (yawn), Wednesday and Huddersfield possibly forming a trio to drop from the Championship.

And yet we outclassed Charlton over two legs? Maybe but Wembley was still a shambles. Wembley is always a shambles where Town are concerned. A succession of managers have led us out there - Davies, Peters, Simpson and Hurst twice - and not a single success. At least the last one went to Extra time.
