I think Bennett is done as far as a footballer goes He made the comment on Twitter a few months ago that his career was coming to an end Think he's set up a property business I saw on twitter. He's played a lot more than anyone probably assumed he would, but this is very much a transition season into retirement I think

I really hope you are wrong, I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole How many times would Hurst have to back him in selection & in interviews about his character for opinion to change? Genuine question for anyone that still has a thing against AOB. It’s another one we really don’t know the truth and Hurst keeps alluding to the truth having been stretched in the past. I dont think it's much to do with Hurst backing him tbh, the way to change supporters opinions is to score goals for a forward. Score 3 or 4 in these last few games and quite a few would want him playing come next season no matter what has gone on in the past.

Can't see udoh staying, bowman and O'Brien will go,so we'll need at least 3/4 new forwards...which is about right, after our shocking scoring record this season..... I'm not far off when I said months and months ago...that our top scorer from the forwards will score 7/8....and the top midfield scorer will get 3/4.......that's very poor🤦🤦

Staying at a Bristol-based friend and he says the vibe is turning against their own Matt Taylor, especially after losing 5-0 to Lincoln and to Vale. . If we go ahead he reckons it will turn toxic. They have quite a few injuries and players who are coming to the end of their loans or contracts, who seem to be going through the motions. Let's hope so. At least we have been spared possibly a Football League first: two managers with the same names facing off against each other.

Can't see AOB staying. Hurst is possibly dangling a carrot for him so that he has some motivation to play. But I doubt if Hurst has any serious intentions of offering him another contract. Given our lack of options, it's not a bad strategy - we need every player with a pulse available. From O'Brien's comments in the press, I really hope he comes good for a couple of games, starting against Rovers with a goal that gets us a result. Three points today and we're nearly there. A defeat with a couple of other teams picking up points and we're back in it. Important game. For me, I think we'll get point with another 1-1 draw.

All games are important at this stage of the season, we are not safe and we really must take control of our destiny, rovers have had a bit of a wobble, so who knows how this will go but lose and it will not be good for my blood pressure.

I assume that we can’t afford to keep any of Cotterill’s signings on the same terms as previous but mind you, at lot of clubs are in a similar position so maybe everyone will have to cut their cloth accordingly.
