Just had a look at the table. Rotherham are obviously doomed as they often are the season after going up. Need to double their points total to even catch the 2nd from bottom team let alone pull clear.
But then there are no less than 8 teams covered by just 2 points. Going to be tight to see who joins them.

Imagine a league one next season that has Birmingham and Stoke coming down, and Wrexham, Crewe, Walsall and Stockport coming up, Burton staying up and Derby failing to get promotion. It’d be the most appealing league we could ever ask to be in.

I would prefer trips to Sheffield and Plymouth than to any of the other 6 potentials.

I'll be more confident to give you my wish list and predictions after the next three games. Else I'm in agreement with Mr Pilch, it could be away days to Forest Green and Chesterfield.

Gateshead away if things go awry. I've a feeling GFC may get promotes via the National league play offs.

They looked decent enough last night against the Albion so they might fancy their chances of avoiding the drop but when was the last time we played QPR? Seems like an age (I can't recall seeing us against them) and so that would be a new one for many a Town fan. Always wanted to visit Loftus Road for a game.

Game made our away game at Burton look like entertainment so can see why both are struggling

Forest Green will do incredibly well to stay up when you see their remaining games. They still have Walsall, Stockport, Crewe, MK Dongs, Mansfield, Hollywood and Notts County.

Brum, and Stoke would fill the away end, as would Wrexham, and Walsall and Derby, so good financially, and a lot closer than Plymouth....

You'd be seeing 9,000+ for Wrexham, Stockport, Birmingham, Stoke, Walsall etc ... Even better if you beat them, some of that 9,000+ should carry over to other games. Just need a bit of momentum 👍

We'll get excited about these potential local games and it will probably end up being Rotherham, Huddersfield and Plymouth

I've always fancied games against Stoke instead of Stoke's second team from Burslem. But, one way or another, I don't think it's going to happen.

Nothing whatsoever appealing about Wrexham. Really? Let’s swap a home and away game with them for one with Fleetwood then shall we ! I At least at Fleetwood, I have never been treated like I have been by North Wales’ finest. Marched ( herded) back to the station even though I tried to point out that I had travelled by car which was parked the other side of the ground. Policing on a par with the Chester Gestapo.

Their winger Mark Lazarus always tormented our defence and was the first Jewish player I can remember.

However, to play them in the league we have to still be league 1 in addition to their freefall. We'll see.

Rotherham definitely - yet again.
Surely they must be tired of all the yo-yoing by now?
Probably be Peterborough's turn to be relegated back down from the Championship next season.

I think late 70s/early 80s we played them in the Cup and a decent following of around 6k, many of the town fans were drunk and were very rowdy in the ground and around West London. A police officer said to Chris something like "we get big followings here from the likes of Chelsea, Spurs, Man United, but for a s**tty little club from the arse end of nowhere, you are the biggest bunch of ar$eholes I've ever come across". Brings a tear to your eye.

I a QPR friend to the Orient game and we were musing on how long it was since we had played each other, alarmingly I could name some of the characters around their 1960’s team - entertaining they certainly were!

At least Rotherham have a decent season every other year though. Peterborough will come straight back down, but they will have to negotiate the play offs before worrying about that.
