Terry Dunfield has shot himself in the foot big time i feel. Who would want him? ? not many teams. If Terry needs european football then the Loosemores welsh league is about his grade. to make up his wage packet up perhaps he could apply for the job going in the chippy in NEWTOWN.

The guy clearly is a very full of himself. Never ever rated him went missing most of the time very inconsistent a poor addition to a poor squad at the time.Onwards and Upwards IMO.Another player believing in his own hype.We will not hear of the ungrateful player again.

well he is a good player plus it is the Canadian coach who has said if he (Terry Dunfield) wants more chance of international football then he must move to what "THEY" aka" Canadian gaffers think if better football. Basically they must not rate any English clubs if they are not on tele all the time like Premireship and Championship.
I personally don't blame Terry, he is a lovely lad but if you had a chance to play for England 'BUT' had to change clubs then you would.

I presume the Canadian boss has also advised Gavin McCallum of Hereford and Simeon Jackson of Gillingham that they need to play at a higher level as well?
I think this may backfire on Terry, I dont think he is capable of playing any higher than League 1 standard, maybe he could play for a lowly SPL team at best? I wish him all the luck in the world, he will need it finding a new club!
To be fair I am surprised a country the size of Canada has to rely on English League 2 players, even if it is far from being a soccer hotbed.

Think it's a bit of a cheek really, we should be the ones giving him the boot not vice versa! Does he realistically believe he can play at a sufficiently higher level to gain attention from the national team (possibly top L1 or higher) if so I think he needs to give his head a shake. Secondly, I know its playing for your country etc etc, but is playing for Canada really that big a deal? Maybe he's been watching the world cup and thinks to himself 'I want some of that' - except that Canada have qualified for it once and the record was: played 3, lost 3, goals for 0, goals against 5

Just wonder if Dunfield has taken Hart's advice far too literally. Yes, of course Canada want their players to be playing at a higher level but this cannot happen overnight. Dunfield has just found first team football again after a very difficult previous 12 months. If Terry continued to impress this season then he may well could have attracted the attention of a league 1/SPL club. As it stands I cannot see 'bigger' clubs playing at a 'higher level' busting a gut to sign him even if he was available on a Bosman (which he's not!). When you consider Jackson at the Gills then that is a different case altogether. He's been linked with several championship/league 1 clubs all willing to pay the purported asking price of £500k+. Jackson will have the opportunity to move and will take it this summer. As for our Terry.... With GT furious at his attitude he could well be transfer listed and frozen out. You cannot attract much attention when you are sitting in the stands and perhaps a sideways move to a fellow league 2 side may be his next step leaving him to regret his actions this week. It's a sorry sorry episode where no one will ulimately benefit. We've lost a decent midfielder, Dunfield will have to accept the first offer that comes his way to escape the situation he's created and Canada will most likely never see Dunfield turn out for them again.

Whatever the reason he'll be no loss. Can't see anyone coming in for him at the sort of standard he wants. League 2 is his level and even that is open to debate.
