Thank you for 110% each & every week last season Grant, totally respect the effort you put in last season.
Gave your all, sadly it wasn't enough for promotion.
Don't blame you for going, Norwich are a big club. Unlike Davies who went for the £££.
The goal against at Rochdale was one of the best I've ever seen from a STFC player, not forgetting the job you did against Wycombe in the JPT.
Goodluck Holty, you WILL be missed.

Completely agreed. And lets not blame PS and RW for this transfer, think its obvious now that it was all down to Bickerton. Good luck Holty, if you happen to come up against us I would hope that other Salop fans would give you a fantastic reception... because I certainly will. Good luck at Norwich Holty, Granted they are a bigger club

And lets not blame PS and RW for this transfer, think its obvious now that it was all down to Bickerton. Bickerton was a knob and I'm delighted that he has left but the reality is that you have absolutely no idea who was behind the move and it is highly unlikely that Bickerton was able to orchestrate one of the club's biggest ever transfers behind the back of the manager and chairman. Poor poster.

Is this news absolutely definite and official now then?

Thank you & good luck Holty.
Wycombe in the JPT was the best performance by a single player I've ever seen.

Good Luck Holty- great move all round. If the word on the street is correct regarding your fee/ our bonus come on you Canaries (Don't think i've ever used that phrase?)

Your regarded as one of the worst posters Crippen so im not going to take posting tips off you Have to disagree there - I am clearly unpopular but certainly not a bad poster and definitely not 'one of the worst'. Get back to hero-worshiping an unlucky player/member of staff only to turn on them a few months down the line. You are fickle, ill-informed and barely literate. How you have the effrontery to question my posting credentials is anyone's guess.

Good luck Grant.
And without want to get involved in that, Crippen is not "one of the worst". He's a character, but he's been here a long time and we've got used to him.

Great move, club got a player of his class for a season, we got goals, he got to put himself back in the shop window.
He moves to a significantly bigger club, probably gets a big pay rise, we get a massive wedge of cash.
Norwich fans happy, Holt happy, and we're left with some spending to do.

Grant. Although it feels very sad that you leave us, I understand that City is a great chance that you do not want to miss out. Thanks for the time with Town. We will not forget you. Good luck in Norwich

I am pleased that Grant has chosen to improve himself with a move to a higher league club and that his move will benefit Shrewsbury Town. Good luck, Grant.
Shame Ben Davies did not leave in the same circumstances as a contracted player.

Feck Davies and Feck Holt for that matter.
He moved becuase he did not want to play League 2 football, his performances towards the end of the season were like he did not want league 2 football.
It's a good deal (financially apparently) and let's hope we can get some people in who want to stick around.

Thanks Grant.
Decent player, good effort, obviously cared.
Thanks for not taking the pee and actually going to a bigger club for decent money not just chasing the arab millions.

You don't know if it's a good deal financially The club didn't say the price he was sold for

Grant Holt, the best player to grace the prostar stadium.
Holty will always be superman. 110% each week and never gave up a challenge.
Thanks for everything.

Will be interesting to see how history judges Holt.
Loved his work rate, goals and effort he put into games but never really felt Holty was "one of us" in the way other Town forwards have been. I guess we always knew he was maybe a bit too good for us and would move on soon.
Good luck at Norwich though Holty - hope Delia cooks you something nice!
